My name is Gracjana (Grace) and I am Viking reenactor for 13 years. I have been experimenting with natural dyes from Viking period for few years and I've always been looking for good quality historical textiles, particularly those in diamond twill weave. I had difficulty to find them for myself and this is how this small business of mine was born. At the moment in my offer you will find wool, silk

, linen and h**p textiles, all made of natural yarn. Many of them are woven in diamond twill. I always listen to your needs and and I'm open for any suggestions to add new kinds of product to my offer. Feel free to contact me and see you on Viking markets! :)

Hey guys.
I'm hoping for your understanding now.
The silence on my pages is caused by health issues I am dealing with for a while now. So that's why shipping and answering to emails is slow, and some events have been canceled too. Sincere apologies for that. 🙏

I'm working on getting my health back on track, so hopefully, it will get back to normality soon.

I am away for 2 weeks in Denmark in Trelleborg and Ribe, so if you want to see me and the very nice colors of plant dyed handwoven fabrics and shawls, these are the places to meet me (NO Moesgaard and NO Wolin this year, sorry!).

Fear not, all orders placed till last week have been sent and are on the way to you. But during the next 2 weeks there will be no shipping, only when i am back again in The Netherlands. 🙂

As promised, here are some of the results of the first plant dyeing done this year.
Blue made in woad.
Yellow made in weld (reseda).
Reds made in madder roots.
Only those plants which are confirmed to be used for dyeing in the Viking period!
I also have some brown fabrics and orange, but still not photographed.
The colors are more vivid in reality, believe me. :)
Some are already gone, some are still available. More fabrics are already in the process of dyeing, so if you need anything, please send me a message or talk to me this weekend in Archeon! :) Hope to see you there!
