The Dead Poets Society "Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing." - Benjamin Franklin

This page will be dedicated to all those mean people that have mis-treated all of us. So, keep score of those rotten people you have had the unfortunate pleasure of having contact with, like this page, and come back in a few weeks to tell all of us here on the Internet about your bad experiences with those meanies!

There will always be people who misunderstand you, who judge you unfairly, or spread false stories about you. And yes, it can be exhausting trying to defend yourself or prove them wrong.

But I’ve learned that my energy is better spent on growth—not on seeking validation from those who choose not to see the truth. I choose peace over drama. I choose progress over proving a point. I choose to stand with people who inspire growth, who lead with kindness, and who see the good in others.

Let them talk—I no longer carry the weight of their opinions. Because in the end, what truly matters is the love and support of those who genuinely believe in me. And that, to me, is more powerful than any noise or negativity.

Kindness is the strongest kind of revenge, and I’ll keep choosing it every single time.

Not everyone has the luxury to take risks.

Some people can afford to walk away from everything, to chase a new life or start over just because they feel stuck. They take chances knowing that if they fall, there’s something—or someone—to catch them. But not all of us have that kind of safety.

Some of us have spent years building something fragile, something that can’t withstand a single wrong move. I’ve always been cautious, not because I lack ambition, but because I know what it’s like to lose and have nothing to fall back on. People say mistakes are how we grow, but maybe making mistakes is a privilege, one that not everyone can afford.

Every decision I make feels heavier than it should, as if one misstep could undo everything I’ve worked for. I don’t fear change—I fear the consequences of failing when there’s no one to soften the fall. So I hold on tightly to what little I have, hoping it won’t slip through my fingers. Maybe I’m not asking for much—just a life that doesn’t feel like it’s constantly on the edge of breaking.

If I can’t have greatness, at least let it be steady. If I can’t be fearless, at least let me be safe.

“Sadness is caused by intelligence. The more you understand certain things, the more you wish you didn't understand them.” (Charles Bukowski)

A certain level of sadness is often a byproduct of empathy and understanding; the deeper our comprehension of the world's complexities, the more acutely we may feel its suffering.

This poignant awareness of life's inherent fragility and the pain experienced by ourselves and others can lead to moments of sorrow.

However, this capacity for profound understanding is also a source of great strength and compassion. It fuels our desire to make a positive impact, to alleviate suffering, and to build a more compassionate world.

The very intelligence that allows us to feel sadness also empowers us to find meaning, purpose, and ultimately, hope, in the face of life's challenges.

I know it's me and the unreasonable way I hold onto memories, or even just litte moments where it felt like I can actually be someone, but I always find myself saving a seat. I know people come and go in this busy world, but somehow, for those that I had deep connections with, there's always the empty space right where they left it.

You see, I know it's only natural to yearn for big things in life, beautiful stuff we all dreamed of when we were more innocent. But I now realize that at the end of the day, it's the most simple interactions with the people I love that give me the most genuine smiles. It's the conversations which feel like an escape from reality that I look forward to after a long, busy day. That's why when life gets busy and it seems they've already forgotten about me, I still save an empty seat no matter what.

It may be for the memories, or that chance to experience moments where it felt like I can actually be someone again. Or it can be a simple thank you, for in this world where it's so easy for people to just come and simply go, they actually stayed for a little while just to get to know me.

The only way to get what you want is to be brave enough to move towards it. If there is a willingness to be momentarily uncomfortable in order to live the life that calls from your heart, then fear loses much of its claim over you and your decisions.

Einstein wore sweatshirts that grew rattier over the years, because wool sweaters made him itch. When his wife, Elsa, “urged him repeatedly to dress up for important company,” wrote one historian, “Einstein quipped that if the important visitors were coming to see him, they’d see him as he was; but if they were coming to see his clothes, Elsa would show them to his wardrobe.”
