High in the Himalayas and across the plains of Mongolia, cashmere goats endure freezing winds and temperatures below –30°C. From their delicate undercoat — not the outer hair — comes one of the rarest and most refined fibres in the world.
Each goat produces only around 100 grams of pure cashmere per year. It takes the fleece of several animals to create a single jacket or sweater, which makes this fibre so precious. Harvested gently and by hand, it remains one of nature’s most exclusive materials.
In touch, cashmere is silky, light, and remarkably warm. It naturally regulates temperature — warming in winter, breathing in summer — and, unlike many delicate fabrics, it does not lose its softness or shape even after years of wear. Its beauty deepens with time.
For over 15 years, Zaremba 1894 has been working with Loro Piana, the world’s most renowned Italian mill for cashmere and fine wools. Their mastery in cleaning, spinning and finishing fibres ensures exceptional durability, softness and depth of colour — qualities that define timeless elegance.
To us, cashmere is more than a fabric — it’s a statement of quiet luxury and craftsmanship that lasts.
