Hello everyone,

because the last one was a success I’ve decided to facilitate it once again, perfecting a few details 💫

Where? at Boa Vida Social Club, Vale da Telha, Aljezur

When? Next 13, 14 & 15th of January
Duration: two hours class per day. From Friday to Sunday.

What?3 days of exploration into the art of sewing

Project? developing a Tote bag

Materials: the idea is to upcycle materials, I will bring some of mine that you can use and I invite you to bring some of yours too, maybe you have some fabric that you really like but don’t know what to do with it, it’s time to use then...

The rest of materials needed will be provided by me & Boa Vida’s.

Age: from 16years old everyone is welcomed.

Price: 60E for the workshop, 20Ein advance to keep your spot & the rest at the the first day of class

Why? Who knows if with this you find a new passion? or even a new purpose in life 💫

2022 was a year of initiations... stepping into the unknown again & again...

One of the most beautiful projects was a maternity dress, honoring ‘s belly 🌸

We’ve called the Dress: il sole nel Oceano 🌞🌊

Just a few days after finishing this dress, Oceano was birthed.
Of course that’s its name 💫

it’s with great enthusiasm I’ve decided to step into the unknown, again 😃by facilitating the first Devocean Wear Sewing Workshop.
The first step to your handmade wardrobe.

Where? at Boa Vida Social Club, Vale da Telha, Aljezur

BESPOKE BRIDAL GOWN, the 1st:

Our first meeting to co-create this dress was at 16/10/21
Almost a year ago 💫

We kind of agreed with late August, when the delivery of an exclusive Dress was made, from “Tell me about your essence” program that we would be doing this.

It took me a few months to integrate it, I have to say but at this first meeting I was ready to dive in.

After an initial conversation, we established a few guidelines, some cerimonial details, general traces of how the dress would feel & look like, and agreements towards payment, delivery & dates.

The process kind of unfolded itself with a life of its own, very organically, nothing too planed, but with a strong commitment from both sides 🤝

Off we go, on a new adventure towards uncharted waters for both, through several Moons (thank you to Her) and seasons: winter, spring, summer & Auttum again.

The peak was for sure the celebration we’ve had last week, surrounded by simplicity, community & so much Love.

Proud to observe that even tough some parts of it were somehow a bit unclear at times, we succeeded on all we’ve agreed on that first meeting.

As you’ve maybe noticed I’ve been absent of Instagram on the past two weeks.

The reason is because my time & energy were totally immersed on the conclusion of the most incredible & challenging project till today: a Wedding Dress 💫

It’s been a co-creative process of almost a year with a Woman that I have the pleasure to call friend and whom I admire & feel deeply inspired by

This process with all its delight it sure did brought up lots of doubts & insecurities. Last week, just a few days before delivery I’ve spend a whole morning like throwing up while working at it, at the same time this voice in my head telling me that it would f_ck it up in the end.

This voice has always been present regardless my creativity, but today I befriended it and don’t allow it to stop me. I know that it will be present every time I try something new but I also know that each project comes to life by taking small steps, one at the time.

This project has had several different fases and I will be sharing a lot about it on the weeks to come.

Today I’m still digesting the depths of it, its delivery and how honored I felt to be part of such a special celebration, last weekend where there were present several dresses of Devocean Wear, including the Bride ❤️

DevOcean Wear “Where you invest your love, you invest your life.”

today is a local portuguese brand in expansion, it came out as a feeling gestated during many years of travelling, an idea created from the experiences in several costal paradises around the globe. From the overcoming of my biggest fear, facing the ocean over and over where I used to be petrified as a child with panick, borned my deepest devotion, source of love and learning. It´s inspired in the close relationship between humans & the incredible force of nature called Ocean.

A project that somehow bonds all my qualities, skills, experiences throughout all my life and also my passions, something that really comes from within, so the sea and my experience surfing is the motor to draw and create.

Cause of traveling so much it took me about four years to bring this idea into reality and really commite to it, but since I´ve stopped on my small peace of paradise called Arrifana Beach and put time, money and love to make out of this idea a brand, things started to unfold. With time it´s becoming a conceptual brand of creative, inspirational, in process women.

PARADISE, was it´s first collection, recognizes beauty in life, inside oneself and in women. Confortable shapes, subtly circumventing the body looking for the harmony of movements necessary in aquatic sports.
