As this year comes to a close, I found myself feeling increasingly without a sense of direction. As much as I’ve loved the work I’ve chosen, and it’s been a beautiful journey, passion and going your own way can be draining, and it can get tough to keep going. I will need to reinvent & reiterate until I strike the right note. ✨ (maybe I’ll find someone to join this adventure? Who knows 🙃)

I have not thrown the towel, and for 2024, I hope to find energy and belief again that it is possible to do things for the better, that there is so much to achieve and that we can imagine, create, and push for exciting positive visions 🌙

This piece is a prototype patchwork jacket made with pieces from leftover bits of textiles - it was finished by my brilliant 72 year old seamstress Maria de la Salete who keeps me on my toes speaking Portuguese and raises the bar in terms of technical skills 🍊

New techniques, new challenges.. building this brand has been a long path of trials and experiments - it takes time to imagine, learn and build, the journey feels long but it all becomes part of Aggie’s DNA. Looking forward to the coming chapters 🌊

I’ve been struggling a lot recently with how to keep moving forward with Aggie’s. As much as I love product development and working on new ideas, that doesn’t really equate with a sustainable business strategy. Taking these hot summer days to imagine new routes to keep Aggie’s going strong!🌴🧡🤩
