What to do with some leftover yarn and a purple leather bottom?!

With no proper pattern and a little bit of different yarns, I have to say that I’m pretty thrilled the way this cute backpack turned out.
Soft stretchy pink yarn, purple bottom & flowery cotton yarn for the bag finished off with black lining, and thick soft stretchy green yarn for the straps. And matchy shiny little pink buttons for a special touch!
She is light and ready to be shown off to the world🩷🤍💚

Look at this little dark blue and grey beauty 🩶💙
I had tried this pattern before but wasn’t happy about the way it turned out so I gave it another go and I am so happy with the result!!

The fabric is super soft, the lining I used from an old dress matches my dark blue t-shirt yarn perfectly and the little grey buttons give it a subtle touch, don’t you think?

Hallo / Bom dia / Hello!

I know…it’s been a while…
A lot has happened in the past year and so my crochet projects unfortunately had to wait…

BUT I am slowely finding my way back to it and here is the first of a few handmade bags I have been working on.
Trying something new and I am loving it!

This one has no vintage buttons or recycled t-shirt yarn, but normal granny squares out of wool, a recycled piece of pillowcase on the inside and a vintage zipper my Grandmother gifted me!

Ready for summer don’t you think?
