beat by be@t - the 3D knits

🐑 The 100% wool knits were developed with merino wool on the outsides and thick Portuguese wool for filling. In its natural color, dyed version and in a classic jacquard.
With great comfort, stunning appearance and natural wool performance, it is suitable for both fashion textiles and technical textiles.

Then a extremely soft knit, with the great touch of TENCEL™ Lyocell on both sides and cotton in the middle to give the expected volume - our CM01454.
The freshest, softest and most comfortable version.

And a 100% NOOSA™ PLA double face, the heaviest option (800g/sq) in a bio-based 🌱 and 100% recycable material ♻.
With an irregular texture due to the struture and made with a great alternative to conventional synthetic fibers.

After a few months of challenging work with designers Laura Silinska and Fernanda Rech as beat by be@t participants, we had the pleasure of seeing the result presented at Moda Lisboa.

COMFORT DIMENSIONS is about great designs that highlight the natural and bio-based alternatives developed for spacer knits.
We were challenged to develop 3D knits without polyamide and/or poliester and with different properties, such as thermoconfort, breathability and great touch.
Some materials popped as alternative compositions, but... due the lack of monofilament alternatives the solution of using filler yarns to give the desired volume to the knits emerged.

The collaborative work resulted in 100% wool, cotton/Tencel™ Lyocell blend, and 100%NOOSA™ PLA knits, from 500 to 800 grams/sq.
All of them very structured, voluminous and with a stunning look.

With an open mind, creativity and collaborative philosophy we managed to achieve a result we are proud of and win the sustainability innovation award from the beat by be@t project.

Our Bursting Strength Tester!

We have this machine at our internal textile lab, which helps us test the strenght that a knit has when it comes to bursting.

In the JEANY CAPSULE of our CAPSULE 2.0 collection we have a range of knits that look like jeans, but without having to use a single INDIGO yarn. Different patterns and textures for you to see.

Having in mind the denim looks trends, we decided to present a capsule inspired by that. In here we offer a range of knits made with navy and blue jeany like colors in order to present to you some alternatives to the indigo yarns.

To make it even better, some colours are obtained by mixing 50% raw virgin fiber and 50% colored fibers deriving from upcycling, so the yarn impact is very reduced!

In this CRAFTY CAPSULE you will find knits made with natural and sustainable dying processes.

The Colorau™ technology from Tintex Textiles sets a new precedent for the textile industry, by using an innovative patented process that replaces synthetic dyes with natural extracts. It incorporates compounds of natural origin, such as: chestnut, gambir leaves and thyme in substrates to create dyeing technology, which has the advantage of eliminating potential toxic effluents.

You should be open to slight color variations in each production, given the type of dyeing process that this knit goes through.

Adding to the Colorau™ dyes that we have presented in the last Capsule collection, in this Capsule 2.0 version, we also added one more color to our natural dyes range, a color that comes from the rubia plant - ´MADDER PLANT`!
