The Jayllah golf balls were out in Thailand today at the Kwan Course near Pattaya. Paul (responsible for the Jayllah website) played for the first time on a course. But he had the honour of playing with Brian Jacks, a keen golfer still at age 77 with a 18 handicap. Brian was an 8th Dan Judo competitor who represented GB in the Olympics. But he was most famous for his efforts in the gym where he repeatedly set records, including 100 parallel bar dips in 60 seconds and 118 squat thrusts in 60 seconds in the 1980 World Final of the BBC's "Superstars" show. Brian also stared in
"This Is Your Life" in 1981, hosted by Eamon Andrews. Brian and his friend John Disney (an ex-professional snooker player) both loved the Jayllah balls and the bamboo tees.

Golf is huge in Thailand with over 250 courses, with 25 within an hour's drive from Pattaya (10 at international competition standard).

Pattaya expat Mike took out the Jayllah JG 3X ball for a Road Test at The Pleasant Valley Golf Course, and his caddy approved too!

Mike said he liked them a lot, noting that the spin characteristics were favorable to higher handicap players and were more forgiving than his previous ball.

He had hit them in the simulator at the Golf Hub in Pattaya before purchasing at the shop.
