Loly este o colecție plină de simboluri și îmi readuce bucuria creației feminine rome, precum colecția Romany Dream

Loly – Wearing Our Story | Continuing the Story!
Loly – Wearing Our Story brings together fashion, Romani cultural heritage, creativity and education.
Following the first workshop held in July at “Nicolae Gheorghe” Secondary School in Apalina, Reghin, Mureș County, with teenagers from both Apalina and Tonciu School, we returned in August for a new series of workshops, conversations and creative activities. ❤️
💻 Digital safety was explored with the teenagers through sessions facilitated by Cezara David from Safe, focusing on online safety, digital risks and the importance of using technology in a responsible and informed way.
👗 Zita Moldovan continued the fashion design and creative workshops, exploring contemporary Romani culture as a source of inspiration for the teenagers’ own fashion ideas and creations. Together, we talked about identity, cultural heritage, symbols and the ways in which our stories can be transformed into contemporary fashion.
We would like to thank “Nicolae Gheorghe” Secondary School in Apalina and Tonciu School for their openness and support, all the teenagers for their enthusiasm, ideas and creativity, as well as the Romani language teachers and facilitators Monica Tatar and Cristina Bereschi i for their dedication and involvement. ❤️
And the story doesn’t stop here! ✨
In the coming period, we will continue the creative process, leading towards a fashion presentation showcasing the creations developed throughout the project, in collaboration with rromani entrepreneur Misan Laura .

Loly – Wearing Our Story brings together fashion, Romani cultural heritage, creativity, and education.
The first workshop of the project took place at “Nicolae Gheorghe” Secondary School in Apalina, Reghin, Mureș County, bringing together teenagers from this school as well as from Tonciu School, Reghin, Mureș County.
We would like to thank both schools for their openness and support, all the teenagers for their enthusiasm and creativity, as well as Romani language teachers and facilitators Monica Tătar and Cristina Bereșchi for their dedication and involvement.
This is only the beginning! In the coming period, new workshops will take place, facilitated by Zita Moldovan, focusing on Romani cultural heritage and creativity through fashion, together with Cezara David, who will address the important topic of digital safety for teenagers.
At the end of the project, we will organize a fashion presentation in collaboration with rromani entrepreneur Laura Mișan, showcasing the creations developed throughout the project.
We are currently in the creative process – work in progress! ✨

You will not reduce me to a stereotype. And you will not rewrite my career.
For more than 20 years, I have worked as a journalist. I have produced hundreds of reports and interviews on human rights, education, anti-discrimination, Roma women's rights, culture, and inclusion. The evidence is public.
Yes, I have also produced programs featuring Roma musicians. And I am proud of that. Roma culture is not a stain on my CV—it is part of this country's cultural heritage.
When you choose to ignore hundreds of pieces of work and focus on a single topic, you are not presenting the truth. You are constructing a convenient narrative.
The voices of women who challenge the status quo are often diminished. I refuse to be reduced, intimidated, or erased. I stand by my work, my dignity, and the truth. And the evidence is on my side.
P.S. See you where it matters most: in front of the truth. That's where the facts speak.

Colecția Rezistenței – NIKO.G (Niko G.)
În cadrul proiectului Colecția Rezistenței, o prezentăm pe Nicoleta Ghiță (Niko G.), artistă romă, rapperiță, actriță și una dintre cele mai puternice voci ale noii generații de creatoare rome.
Originară din Ferentari, Nicoleta și-a început parcursul artistic în teatru, iar mai târziu a devenit cunoscută prin muzica sa rap și trap, precum și prin rolurile interpretate în spectacolele companiei feministe rome Giuvlipen.
Alături de artista și dramaturga Mihaela Drăgan, a creat proiectul muzical Tehno-Vrăjitoarele, primul album de trap feminist din România, cu mesaje antirasiste, feministe și de emancipare. Versurile lor vorbesc despre puterea femeilor rome, solidaritate, identitate și dreptate socială.
De-a lungul anilor, Nicoleta a susținut concerte și reprezentații atât în România, cât și în numeroase țări din Europa și Statele Unite, ducând mai departe cultura și vocile rome pe scene internaționale.
În aceste zile, Nicoleta se află din nou pe scenă, la Berlin, continuând să transforme muzica într-o formă de rezistență și afirmare. Prin fiecare piesă, ea demonstrează că arta poate combate rasismul, sexismul și prejudecățile, inspirând o nouă generație de tineri romi să își facă vocea auzită.
Mulțumim, Nicoleta, pentru curaj, autenticitate și pentru că transformi experiențele comunității noastre în artă, mesaj și rezistență.

Coming from Ferentari, one of Bucharest’s most well-known neighborhoods, Nicoleta has built an inspiring artistic journey through theater, rap, and trap music. She performed in productions of the Romani feminist theatre company Giuvlipen and, together with artist and playwright Mihaela Drăgan, created groundbreaking musical projects that challenge racism, sexism, and anti-Roma discrimination.
Their songs and lyrics are more than music—they are acts of resistance.
