The brainchild of a designer who dreamed to be a tailor, turific! started off with the idea of creating cycling caps out of old but good quality fabrics. quickly expanded to creating shoulder bags, messenger bags and accessories, keeping in mind to use as much as possible reused/regained/recycled materials.

I've upcycled this from two very different, somewhat opposing items. A fancy British gents shirt and a very common tote bag, advertising a hardware store. I've aimed at giving this cap as much structure as possible, and for that I've at least doubled the fabrics on all the panels. I've also tested the idea of making the sweatband myself, from scratch, which turned out ok, but took quite some time. The strap is made using the original loops on the tote bag.I think the hat turned out ok. To you concur?

Some things are better when they’re not made twice.

10 five-panel caps.
10 numbers.
10 individual pieces.

Each one was cut, sewn and finished by hand — with each number cut from soft Velcro and stitched directly onto the cap, one number at a time, from 0 to 9.

No restock. No second run.
Just this one small batch, made once and left as it is.

Made slowly. Made by hand.
Made to be yours.

TURIFIC.

This was a good day; I was lucky to find 4 new cotton fabrics, in assorted colors and beautiful patterns. Used each of them on a new model. I've also found some tiny D-rings (1 cm) for the adjustment system (I've started liking more discreet straps in the back). This is the first 6 panel that I've made using a different fabric for each panel. Pretty happy how it turned out.

Why buy a battery operated from temu when you can design one from scraps, based on gravity. The only thing bought specifically for this project was the ball-bearing. Most of the parts are . At first, I was tempted to hide the mechanism, then it grew on me and decided to leave it exposed. The first counterweight (rotary cutter) was too heavy (31g). The second was perfect (clipping scissors - 21g). I should use this device to film and upload product videos on .

This is the 10x slower but 20x more satisfying way to cut a front panel for a .

Getting back into production an idea that actually sold better than I thought before double checking the orders history. More work than on a regular product, but very rewarding once the cap is finished.

More than just an AirTag holder, this is a tiny handmade cycling cap inspired by the timeless style of classic cycling caps. This handmade mini cycling cap is more than a cute accessory—it cleverly hides your AirTag inside while adding a unique touch to your everyday gear. Inspired by the iconic classic cycling cap, this tiny fabric cap is perfect for cyclists, commuters and outdoor enthusiasts who appreciate thoughtful design and functional accessories.

Every single cap is individually handcrafted from fabric, carefully cut, stitched and assembled by hand. Although it's only a miniature, making one takes almost as much time and attention as sewing a full-size cycling cap. It's a small object, but definitely not a quick one to make.

The result is a unique little accessory that hides your Apple AirTag while adding personality to your backpack, bike bag, pannier, luggage, keys or everyday carry gear.

Unlike ordinary AirTag cases, this one doesn't look like a gadget. It looks like a tiny piece of cycling culture.
