🌟on this day 50 years ago, the Great Couturier Coco Chanel passed away🖤
🌟a century ago began the Empire of Fashion by Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel, she lived a long life from 1883 on August 19th to January 10th 1971, and ended in a luxurious Suite at the Hotel Ritz Paris.
🌟She knew what a woman needed: "You will be best protected by an elegant cashmere coat and a pair of black glasses" - The great French fashion designer who ruled Parisian haute couture for almost six decades.
🌟Her now-classic innovations included a Chanel suit, a quilted handbag, jewelry and a "little black dress."
🌟True to its dictum that "luxury must be comfortable, otherwise it is not luxury," Chanel's designs emphasized simplicity and comfort and revolutionized the fashion industry.
🌟By the late 1920s, Chanel's industry was reportedly worth millions and employed more than 2,000 people, not only in her haute couture house, but also in a perfume laboratory, textile factory and jewelry workshop.
🌟She has collaborated with businessmen Theophile Bader of the department store Galeries Lafayette and Pierre Wertheimer of the cosmetics company Bourjois.
