I felt I needed to write something about my hiatus to my lovely customers and friends who have supported and loved my brand since day 1, about 12 years ago.
During this time of insecurity and never heard of situations, faced with things we never would have thought possible just a few months ago, I began to question the need to produce more in an already over saturated market.
I have been passionate about sustainability and conscious production for years now and in this moment I feel that producing more simply means an excess. Because I feel we need the opposite. We need less. We need space and nature and time to heal and enjoy life. But not by consuming more. By feeling more.
Don't get me wrong I love my mission on Earth. I am full of creativity and as in love with fashion as an individual expression of Art as ever. But right now I feel it is time to halt things a little bit.
I am an instinctual artist and have always questioned the status quo. I don't play by the rules and don't look at what others are doing. For me what discarding more clothes into the world right now is simply not relevant.
The world needs a lift and a thrill of course but maybe of some real experiences. Human interaction.

That being said I will be taking a break from the rusty, old fashion calendar from now on.
