“I'm not rich enough to buy designer clothes!”

I have heard this many times. Like, it’s better to buy new clothes from famous brands at discounts every season than to afford a couple of designer items once a year.

I perfectly understand sales fans - you can’t do without inexpensive clothes, especially if you don’t expect them to last a long time.

But I want to tell you a story.

Once, during a class at the Metrics Academy, a teacher showed us the dress of one of the students:

Now you will see how designer and couture items differ from the mass market.

The hem of the dress was tucked in 5-7 inches. Extra waste of fabric - at first glance. Or an attempt to hide the flaws in cutting.

The point is different, and the difference was explained to us.

Do you know what real customer care and true quality are?

When the bottom of the dress or trouser legs are turned up not by 1 inch, but by 5-7 inches, regardless of the consumption of fabric, to fit any height
When the seams are processed with bias tape, so that the edge does not fray
When buttons and fasteners are sewn neatly and firmly
When expensive fabric is used for lining, so that clothes please not only with their appearance, but also with touch to the body

Obvious things, and everyone intuitively understands them.

All kinds of clothes are needed - there is nothing wrong with the mass market. But in my work I am guided by THESE criteria⬆️and I’m happy that I have the opportunity to create such beauty.

Do you have favorite clothes that you are ready to wear every day?

Whether it's a tiny summer dress - you flutter like a fairy; or old jeans - put it on, and your hips seem to be minus a couple of kg; or your favorite skirt - not elegant, but with the right top, it is suitable for any event.

What is special about them, do you think?

It seems to me that we fall in love with things that help us to be ourselves, reflect our essence. This is the perfect outfit. And it's not about price or fashion.

I choose my outfits according to these criteria:

High-quality fabric - no patterns will save trousers made of cheap synthetics
Neat seams - when the body is comfortable as naked
The mood of the clothes - one scarf can set the tone for the whole image

I rely on this when I create my blouses, skirts and dresses.

All three principles combined into one:

Rich & reachable - expensive and affordable

Rich
I work only with branded fabrics that are purchased by world fashion houses
I carefully work out the patterns
I sew a limited number of things

Reachable
Clothing costs from 150 euros.
The design is wearable - you can go out in my dresses any day, anywhere.
Quality materials and tailoring ensure that the garment will last a long time.

And one more thing - no beautiful dress is perfect on a hanger. This dress is filled with life by the girl who puts it on. Only the scheme Person + Thing gives rise to the Ideal. Have you seen how one outfit paints someone, but doesn’t go corny to someone?

The blog is almost a year old, and I still haven’t really told what it is about.

Natalia Vladi is my brand, we have one name for two )) It was born in 2021 only, but I have been a professional sewer for more than half my life.

My design history began with dance dresses. I created them first for myself, then to order under the LaEx brand - short for La Excelencia, that was the name of my dance studio.

LaEx has a separate blog .dancewear and if you need a dress for ballroom and sports Latin American dances, as well as for salsa, bachata and any social dances, or if you don’t mind to stare at pearls and feathers - you are welcome!

And what about here, in .vladi.official ?

And here is my first fashion line.

In 2020, I was lucky to learn about the Metrics online branding and design academy and to enter it in 2021. I have been enthusiastically drawing sketches, studying style, design, modeling, branding, marketing and ...

…On September 17, 2021, I released my first collection called My way and shot a lookbook! Also, pictures from another creative shooting got on the cover of Pump and in the publication of Vogue.

At that moment, the Natalia Vladi brand was born, we have one name for two.

This fashion line is my newborn message, a cherished dream that came true last year.

Working on the concept of My way, I was inspired by the femininity and awareness of modern girls who value and love themselves, know what they want and what they can do. At the same time, they strive to be part of the whole world and have their own opinion about everything. They always care and act on their own.

They know they are gorgeous, and that’s more than pretty.

Natalia Vladi is my brand and that's me. Glad to meet you here and happy that I make women even more beautiful!
