Bastogne and Manhay, Belgium — two commemorative Battle of the Bulge reenactments, five years apart.

The 2014 Bastogne event brought hundreds of reenactors into a winter field setting. In 2019, reenactors from Europe and the United States took part in the 75th-anniversary event at Manhay. Snow, movement, vehicles and field positions show why an impression must work as a complete system, not as a collection of separate items.

High-quality Oak camouflage smock, 1st model (M40).

Made by Replika: the camouflage is produced in Russia and the garment is sewn in Russia. The print was recreated from scratch, while the pattern was taken from an original example.

The early Eichenlaubmuster camouflage is reproduced in full detail, with a pattern measuring almost one square metre without repeats. The smock is fully reversible: green tones for summer on one side and brown tones for autumn on the other.

It features chest slits for access to the tunic’s breast pockets; the smock itself has no pockets.

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum brought vintage aircraft, airborne demonstrations and living history together during its 34th World War II Weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania.

For reenactors and military-history enthusiasts, machines are an essential part of the impression: their sound, movement and scale make history tangible.

Would you make the jump?

On June 7, 2026, more than 600 service members from units historically linked to D-Day took part in commemorative events across Normandy.

This airborne operation over La Fière connected today’s paratroopers with the history of June 1944 — not only through uniforms and equipment, but through movement, teamwork and experience.

On June 6, 2025, the 34th annual World War II Weekend took place in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Reenactors, historic military vehicles, warbirds and an airborne demonstration brought the atmosphere of the 1940s back to life. The event united living history, operational aircraft and authentic WWII impressions.

On June 7, 2026, a commemorative airborne operation marking the 82nd anniversary of D-Day took place over Normandy, France.

Service members jumped over the historic La Fière area near Sainte-Mère-Église, where fierce fighting took place in June 1944. From June 2–7, more than 600 participants from units with historic links to Operation Overlord took part in over 90 commemorative events across Normandy.
