Printed trousers for 🍐 shapes?
Yes you can!

Even if they are pleated, there's a way.

Just make sure the top (which you should still tuck in) has enough volume and blousiness to balance the volume in the pants.

Styling deep turn up cuffs on jeans can be tricky if you don't have mile long legs!

The best way to do this is to lengthen the legs from the top (since you're cutting them short from the bottom with the hem).

To do this, go for high waisted styles and tuck your top in.

One of the most universally loved colours to wear and yet some of my clients don't realise they can wear it.. 💙💙💙

There is in fact a blue for everyone and the shade that looks best on your depends on your colour season

🌸Spring: Warm and bright such as turquoise, sky blue or cobalt

☀️Summer: Cool and soft such as soft navy, mint, baby blue, chambray

🍁Autumn: Warm and soft such as teal, green toned navy and medium cornflower blues

❄️Winter: Cool and bright such as clear navy, royal blue and some turquoise shades

Time out..
I'm one of those strange people who actually enjoys holiday packing 🧳 but I know that's not the case for everyone.

In case this is something you struggle with, here are some tips on holiday packing..

1. Pack within a palette 🎨 so that everything can mix and match. Even if you pack in outfits, doing this allows you to adapt your choices more easily once there.

2. Plan outfits but use each piece at least twice if you can i.e. two tops and bottoms that can be swapped to create 4 outfits. Or plan to outfit repeat..

3. Be 100% sure on the 👗 dress codes or the "look" you are going for before travelling. When on holiday you want to avoid worrying or even thinking too much about your clothing

4. Photograph your outfit combinations laid out (or on you) before you travel. You might need some inspiration especially if the sun🌞 or cocktails go to your head

Have you found your authentic style personality?

I loved this mood board that I created for a client this week following her consultation.

Her style buzz words were: Clean, Contemporary, Relaxed, Tailored and Cool 😎

The palette of monochrome neutrals and hint of colour feels so chic

This will give her a good guide and anchor to her style to prevent wasted time and dollars on things that just aren't right for her and that she won't actually wear in reality 🛍️

A good mood board also takes into account the person's colour season and body type. In this instance she is a Cool Winter❄️ and a Slim 🍐Pear Shape

Everyone can wear red...
Yes, really!
But, that doesn't mean classic pillar box red is right for everyone.
If you've found that reds don't suit you, it's almost certainly because you have not tried the right shade..

For example;
🌸 A Spring needs warm, bright reds like coral or orangey-red
☀️ A Summer needs softer, pinky reds or mauves
🍁An Autumn needs softer burgundy or rusty reds
🌨️A Winter needs a bright, classic, cool red or wine

And remember, red can be worn as an accessory or lipstick if you aren't ready to go full plunge into a red piece of clothing
