ASTRID A PART OF THE NEW WORKS UNIVERSE

We continue the longstanding collaboration with , expanding our presence at the Bredgade 42 residence during 3daysofdesign and beyond.

For years, curtains and soft decorations in Astrid fabrics have been a signature element of the New Works showrooms, curated by stylist Lotta Agaton and her team . Building on this, Astrid joined the brand’s dedicated materials room last year with a curated fabric selection, a presence that grows further this year, offering visitors an even wider range to explore.

During Astrid will be part of a multi-material display designed to inspire creativity and invite visitors to play with texture, colour and composition. New curtains in many of the latest development will be present in the residence.

We invite you into a shared space where softness meets solidity, and every surface has something to say. During 3daysofdesign, Astrid Textiles and BRANDT Copenhagen come together in an exhibition defined by tactility, craftsmanship and material integrity, a curated meeting of architectural hardware and a textile universe, united by a shared love of craft and timeless design.
And we would love to celebrate it with you.

Set the table with Fasano

Fasano is a linen and h**p fabric on double width, woven with satin binding that gives a dense and smooth surface. The fabric is yarn dyed, which with this binding and the light warp gives a two-sided fabric with a more colorful front side and a lighter reverse side.

Fasano, and its companions Molina and Varenna are part of our collection with fabrics given a finishing wash we call ”Mano della Nonna” (with grandmother’s hand). The wash gives a smooth soft feeling, a beautiful drape and an evenly wrinkled texture

Duka bordet med Fasano

Fasano är ett linnetyg på dubbelbredd, tyget är vävt med satinbindning vilket ger en slät, tät och smidig yta. Tyget är trådinfärgat vilket med den här bindningen och den ljusa varpen ger ett tvåsidigt tyg med en mer färgstark rätsida och en ljusare avigsida.

Fasano, med sina kompanjoner Molina och Varenna hör till vår kollektion med en efterbehandlande tvätt som vi kallar ”Mano della Nonna”, (med farmors hand). Tvätten ger en len mjuk känsla, ett vackert fall och en jämt skrynklad struktur.

Milano – Checked Wool
Milano is a exceptionally soft, dense wool satin woven on double width, with a matte, smooth surface and a superb drape that lends it a refined elegance. Its jacquard-woven check pattern appears on both sides of the cloth, making it a double-faced fabric: one side presents a deeper, more saturated colour, while the reverse offers an inverted tone, resulting in a softer, lighter hue.

Milano är en exceptionellt mjukt och tätt ullsatin vävd på dubbel bredd, med en matt och slät yta och ett mjukt fall som ger vacker elegans.
