Last Salong of the season with performance, music, artist talk and mingle. Clothing designer Melinda Stokes (Stokx, Berlin) and singer/electronic artist Anne Pajunen together present The Wearable Landscape, a garment that takes over the entire room, shown on stage for the first time.

TEE by Nazanin Raissi.

Nazanin Raissi is a clinical psychologist and artist. Centred on the medium of photography her research-based artistic practise explores themes of memory, displacement, loss, and family embodied in her experience of being attached to dual cultures, Iran and Sweden. Interlacing personal history, often through utilising images from her private photo albums into her practice, she attempts to allow new existential spaces, positioned in the interface between oppositions, to emerge, fracturing presence versus absence and near versus elsewhere.

Artist statement
Memory as Departure is part of the series Healing Engines where notions of memory, loss, and time are interpreted through the photo albums of two fathers. In Healing Engines photocopied source images coexist with algorithmically generated formations alongside machinic sudden mistakes, code fragments, and extracts of pictorial presence deviating into geometric abstractions. Techniques of digital healing, deletion, replication, and montage are adopted to reflect on the unreliable constructs of memory and the relationship between historical space and virtual space coinciding within technology.

Sara Lo af Ekenstam is an artist, living and working in Gothenburg. Examined from HDK School of Design and Crafts with a master’s degree in Jewellery art and design. She works cross-boundary between different fields and artistic expressions.

Sara-Lo af Ekenstam is using natural phenomena as well as different materials and their properties as metaphors for psychological and social processes. The forces and movements in the city and in nature are factors we humans relate to, live in, shape and adapt to.

You will find her Sculptural Vases in glass at the exhibition with Atacac at Lynk.

Linda Spåman is an artist and illustrator, graduated with a Master degree in Applied Arts at HDK in Gothenburg. Linda illustrates the world of femininity through a warped and twisted world, flirting with glitching hints to witchery, black magic, tarots and the world of supernatural. She collaborated in several art projects, fanzines and podcasts and Misslyckat självmord i Mölndals bro (Unsuccessful su***de at Mölndal’s bridge), published in 2011, is her first book.

Each artwork has a set of parameters that are entered into the algorithm and which then creates a unique artwork. His work explores the connection between mathematics, music, art and nature.

Since the late 1990s Carolina Falkholt has elevated her graffiti towards a musical, performative and social practice. She is a site-specific, process-based artist that doesn’t fear large scale and improvisation and when she is not spraying paint, she also expresses herself through sculpture, performance, music and video.

Falkholt explores not only her own aesthetic expression but also the social possibilities of graffiti in the gap between graffiti as subculture and as contemporary art. Her perspective gravitates towards themes like feminism and freedom of expression.
