Svensson Interior Textiles

Svensson Interior Textiles Svensson dresses public rooms with aesthetical and functional textiles. Our range includes fabrics for curtains, upholstery and solar control. Founded in 1887

With a passion for quality textiles, the Svensson brand is built on a legacy that began in 1887. After four generations as a family run company, we continue to develop and manufacture textiles with outstanding design and function. Now more than ever, our unique experience and know-how is used to improve the natural habitat of both people and plants. This makes us who we are – and extremely proud. Welcome to Svensson.

BonBon Melt combines softness and structure through a checkered pattern that dissolves along diagonal lines, creating a calm yet dynamic surface.

The jacquard-woven wool upholstery fabric combines geometric precision with tactile depth and nuanced colour combinations.

Designed for public interiors, BonBon Melt adds warmth, character and a clear graphic expression.

At Svensson, our textile climate solutions are created close to production, where craftsmanship, material knowledge and long-term thinking are a natural part of the process.

Developed in Kinna, the heart of Sweden’s textile region, our textiles have combined function, design and durability since 1887. Today, we continue to create solutions for public interiors around the world, designed to support better indoor climates through acoustics, light and lasting quality.

With its acoustic performance and refined expression, Grain is designed to support both the function and atmosphere of a space.

The sound-classified textile combines three contrasting colours in a construction that creates subtle depth and a distinct surface structure. The result is a textile with tactile character, a balanced colour scale and a natural drape.

Grain works equally well as a classic curtain solution or as a way to define new zones within an interior — bringing together acoustics, materiality and spatial balance.

Our Spring 2026 collection explores structure, tactility and colour through a series of textiles developed for contemporary public interiors.

One of the new additions is STEREO, an upholstery fabric woven in 100% wool. Its distinctive check pattern emerges through the interaction of colour and texture, combining a clear graphic expression with a tactile surface and a refined textile character.

Available in twenty carefully developed colourways and constructed in a durable plain weave, STEREO is designed for environments where materiality, function and longevity are equally important.

At Lagmansgården in Pietarsaari, a residential school within Finland’s state child welfare system, textiles contribute to more than the visual expression of a space. Together with architecture and natural materials, they help create a calmer and more balanced everyday environment.

In the project, Svensson’s acoustic textiles Grain and Blush improve the sound environment by reducing noise levels and defining different zones without fully enclosing them.

The result is an interior where acoustics, materiality and spatial experience come together to support focus, wellbeing and a sense of calm.

Daylight shapes how we experience a space. It influences focus, comfort and well-being throughout the day. With textiles designed for light control, glare can be softened and daylight balanced, while maintaining a connection to the outdoors.

At Svensson, we approach daylight as part of the overall spatial experience, where textiles contribute to comfort, atmosphere and well-being in public interiors.
