Our inbox has been flooded with one question 🙈

”When are you releasing the Gambian Birkin bag again?”

While we appreciate the comparison, this is not a Birkin.

This is Musu K***a.🇬🇲

Musu K***a means the women’s domain the heart of the home, the foundation of the family. This bag was created to honor the women who build, sacrifice, nurture, and carry generations forward.

Introducing the Musu K***a Envelope Clay Bag.

Designed to celebrate every woman and every achievement big or small.

The shape is inspired by an envelope, while the structure is inspired by traditional African mud houses. Its rich clay color honors the timeless beauty of black melanin skin powerful, rich, and built like natural armor. Crafted from pure genuine leather, it carries the signature Musu K***a stamp inside and a rebuilt, stronger magnetic closure.

This is not just luxury.
It is a statement.

A statement for the women who keep going, keep building, keep sacrificing, and keep believing in themselves while carrying their history, culture, heritage, and love with pride never forgetting their roots and where they come from.

They don’t want you to know that before the ‘Age of Discovery,’ the world’s gold supply was controlled by one group of people: The Soninke. (SARAHULE)

Most people think “Ghana” is just a modern country. They don’t realize the Soninke people established the Wagadu Empire (Ancient Ghana) nearly 1,500 years ago.

In the Wagadu Empire (Ancient Ghana), wealth wasn’t just for the kings. It was so abundant that historical records claim their royal guard’s dogs wore collars of pure gold and silver.
While the rest of the world was struggling, the Soninke were mastering international trade and building cities of stone and gold.

Why is this ‘The Lost History’ of Africa? Are we still being taught that Africa had nothing before colonization?

TAG A SONINKE who needs to know their true heritage. 👤👑

They told us this was impossible. 🪵

People often ask me which of my collections is my favorite. It’s a hard question, but if I’m being honest, it’s the one that almost didn’t happen.

The Nyaklaso Sunglasses featuring wood, hand-carved into the shape of the eye with a subtle 3D effect.
Most manufacturers wouldn’t touch it. The craftsmanship was too complex, the geometry too precise. It took months of “no,” endless refinements, and a lot of patience to stay true to the vision.

But we didn’t settle. We pushed until the “impossible” became the final piece you see here. To me, the beauty isn’t just in the design it’s in the grit it took to bring it to life.

A limited number of sunglasses will be released on May 2nd on our website.

16:00 Swedish time.

The Secret of the Manjack ( Manjago) People
History is not always in books. Sometimes, it is found in a handshake.

The Manjack (Manjago) people of West Africa are famous for a “Secret Code” that has lasted for centuries. Even though they live all over the world today, they stay connected to their roots 🇸🇳🇬🇼🇬🇲

How they stay strong

• A Word is a Contract: They don’t need lawyers. For a Manjack person, your word is your honor. If you give it, you must keep it.

• Never Alone, When a Manjack person moves to a new country, they are never alone. The community is already there to help with food, work, and a home.

• Quiet Power, They don’t shout for attention. They work hard and build in silence. Their success is their message.

• Living for Ancestors, They believe they carry their family’s name on their shoulders. Every good thing they do honors the people who came before them.

Tag someone who is as loyal as a Manjack! ✊🏿🖤

They told you our history started with slavery...
But that was the middle of the story, not the beginning.

Before the ships, we had the Mali Empire the richest kingdom the world has ever seen.
Before the chains, we had the Songhai Empire where the world went to study science and law.

Before the struggle, we had the Ancient Cultures of Senegambia—building wonders that still stand today.

They want you to remember where we fell, but they want you to forget where we stood.

Stop believing the lie. We were Kings long before we were captives.

Why do you think they chose to teach us about the chains, but never about the crowns? 🤷🏾‍♂️

The Living Libraries

Did you know? In West Africa, history wasn’t kept in books it was kept in people.
Special historians called Griots (jalli) memorized thousands of years of family trees, laws, and secrets. They didn’t use pens or paper. They used music and their voices to keep the past alive.
It was said that when a Griot died, it was like a whole library had burned down. They were the “living hard drives” of their ancestors.

True or False, A Griot could remember family histories going back over 800 years?
