Designing a New Collection is always a challenge. Fashion is temporary, while style is eternal. Men’s Dress Shoes haven’t evolved as much in the last 200 years in terms of styling, which shows you the power and effectiveness of a good, classic pair of shoes.

These days, due to technological and other advancements, as well as a changing world, we can afford to be a bit more creative with little details. Whether it is design, leather or shape you can make small adjustments to stand out in an elegant, subtle way (or go crazy!).

This particular model is an unreleased prototype that was made from a high end range by Legendary Carlos Santos for The Noble Shoe. Designed and shaped on a last by Kostas Mandilaris, a Bespoke Trained Shoemaker and finished on a wonderful piece of black hatchgrain leather.

Split Toe Derbies can be a controversial style, as the size and placement of the apron can fundamentally change its appearance. This one strikes a really nice balance and would make for an excellent every day shoe. Don’t you think?
