Nitty Gritty started out in 1991 in Stockholm as a counter reaction to all the mainline clothing department stores dominating the market in the early 90's. As one of the first independent stores in Stockholm at the time we offered you, the customer, a personal mix of brands that were either cheap or expensive, Swedish or international, known or unknown. To this day this is still as important to us

as it was when we started out, even if the concept has evolved and refined over the years. We value every product on its own as much as we value the strength of the brand it represents and we can proudly say that today we can offer you mens- and womenswear, footwear, accessories, skincare and fragrances that continuously interprets and challenges time. We at Nitty Gritty gather our collections and inspirations from all around the world, so therefore we would now like to give the world the opportunity to share this with us.

New Our Legacy menswear has arrived. Relaxed tailoring in Japanese and Italian wool, washed shirts, wide-leg trousers and fine knitwear, with a strong focus on texture, treatment and fabric development.

New MAN-TLE is now available, with four pieces built around distinctive fabrics and production methods. The R21M2 Service Jacket comes in dense wool and cotton gabardine woven in Ichinomiya, alongside two versions of the R21S4 OD Shirt: one hand-dyed in Amami-Ōshima using 25 cycles of traditional Dorozome mud-dyeing, the other cut from lightweight organic denim woven in Okayama. Completing the delivery is the R21Z1 Machine Cardigan, knitted entirely in Australia from naturally coloured black and brown Merino wool

A new delivery from Tarvas has arrived, with the Derby joining the selection for the first time in both leather and nubuck. Alongside it, we’ve restocked the Wanderer and Easy Hiker in leather and suede for the season. Built for everyday wear and made to get better with time.

SONO returns to Nitty Gritty, now with a selection for men. Designed by Stephanie Oberg and Simon Homes, the collection combines strong, familiar shapes with carefully sourced natural materials and responsible production. Recycled wool, organic cotton and alpaca feature across oversized tailoring, outerwear and knitwear, made between Great Britain, France and Italy with longevity at the centre.

Made exclusively for Nitty Gritty, this Yuketen slip-on is handcrafted in Italy from supple black suede with a full-grain leather lining and a vegetable-tanned leather insole. Hand-cut and hand-lasted, it is finished with a Vibram Camp sole for comfort and durability, bringing together traditional craftsmanship with everyday function.

New to Nitty Gritty, Thistles is an eyewear brand founded in 2023 by New Zealand-born, New York-based photographer and creative director Thistle Brown. Shaped by observation, material sensibility and a clear point of view, the frames offer a contemporary take on traditional eyewear, designed to both shield and be seen. The first delivery includes bold acetate styles and lightweight titanium frames, all handcrafted in Italy and fitted with Poly renew lenses for UV protection.

Tarvas Wanderer constructed with an upper made from a single piece of deadstock Cordura, folded and stitched into shape. Lined with Italian cow leather and finished with a suede heel panel. Wrapped with a rubberized leather mudguard, and set on a low-profile Vibram sole. Produced in collaboration with Nitty Gritty® Worldwide in a limited run using the final available deadstock fabric.

This season’s trousers from Nitty Gritty® Worldwide includes washed denim, reverse satin and pleated chinos cut from garment-washed chino twill in brown and blue. Familiar shapes are given character through texture, weight and finish, with each fabric developing its own character through wear and use. A concise offering shaped by material first, designed for everyday wear and repeated use.
