Kaneko Kohyo Giyaman Small Plates & Bowl
Pottery manufacturing company Kaneko Kohyo was established in 1921 in Gifu where is the heart of the historic ceramics (Mino-Yaki) in Japan.
~ All products are dishwasher and microwave safe ~
Giyaman is the shiny glaze of the porcelain that makes it look like glass. The word Giyaman is a loan word which was used to describe glassware from the early 1600s to the late 1800s.
The deep colours of blue and Rikyu green make a beautiful contrast to the white lines of the pattern that is shaped like a chrysanthemum, which is the flower of the imperial family.
