Från progg till Prada — hör mig i P1-dokumentär om Stockholms förvandling från stor småstad till liten storstad på 1980-talet

Tillsammans med mina gamla ungdomsvänner Mauro Scocco, Carouschka Streiffert och Susanne Ljung medverkar jag i denna P1-dokumentär om Stockholms förvandling under 1980-talet av min kära vän Anna Åkerlund soom arbetat med dokumentären i hela fyra år. Från början var det meningen att dokumentären skulle handla om Eder ödmjuke men ämnet var uppenbarligen inte tillräckligt intressant för Anna he he ...

På 1980-talet genomgår Stockholm en total förvandling. Ytan och individen blir viktigare än politiken och kollektivet. Kroglivet exploderar, fastigheterna ...

In 2013, we published our massive coffee-table book Stockholm New, as a ten-year memorial of our magazine. The book contains half old, half new material. It was launched with a vast exhibition at the Thielska Galleriet museum, with some sixty prints from the book produced in large and monumental format prints, presented along with museums famous collection of Swedish and Nordic turn of the 19th century painting. The name of the exhibition was “Stockholm New – national romanticism from double turn of the centuries: contemporary fashion photography meets classic masterpiece painting”.

”Stockholm New – national romanticism from double turn of the centuries: contremporary fashion photography meets classic masterpiece paintings”⁠
Exhibition staged at Thielska Galleriet art musem in Royal Djurgården park in Stockholm. Large scale prints of classic Stockholm New images 1993-2013 were presented juxtaposing the museum’s famous collection of turn of the 20th century paintings my artist such as Edvard Munch, Vilhelm Hammershøi, Anders Zorn, Bruno LIljefors, Eugene Jansson, Ernst Josephson, Nils Kreuger, Gustaf Fjaestad, and others. Contributing photographers: Mikael Jansson, Julia Hetta, Frederik Lieberath, John Akehurst, Sølve Sundsbø, Pelle Bergström, Denise Grünstein, Ewa-Marie Rundquist, Magnus Mårding, Gösta Reiland and Elisabeth Toll.
