The season of plaids is here and we’ve got your back with the finest of vintage wool garments. Through one of our sources we managed to get our hands on a couple of sealed bales from the 1980s containing vintage Pendleton & Woolrich plaids amongst hunting jackets in wool dating back to the 1920s.

Some of it went as fast as it came through our physical stores, but there are still some incredible pieces that are now up for grabs exclusively on our website.

Ever heard of a Canadian Tuxedo? Don’t Google it, as it will probably show you terrible outfits of 90s celebrity couples.

The term reportedly originated in 1951 after Bing Crosby was refused entry to a hotel in Vancouver, British Columbia, because he was wearing a denim top and denim bottoms. After learning of the incident, Levi Strauss & Co. designed a tuxedo made entirely of denim for Crosby as a publicity stunt.

The Canadian Tuxedo, or Denim on Denim, when mastered correctly, is one of our preferred American vintage looks. And to master it, you definitely need genuine vintage pieces like a Lee Storm Rider and Levi’s 501s for example.

With this said, we’re happy to announce the launch of our new denim shop online. A department that’s here to stay and where you will find comfort knowing you’ll find nothing but the real deal.

We recommend to check in weekly, as this section will be filled with vintage denim sourced directly from the U.S.
