I, Michaela Grinsfeldt, founded the clothing brand Elafela in 2014 after a long time of having sewing as a hobby. In the beginning all kinds of clothes for men, women and children were created on the kitchen table from my small apartment in Stockholm and later sold online. The interest of designing and creating childrens’ clothes increased when I was expecting my first child with my life partner N
iklas Wallerstedt. In February of 2015 our baby daughter Wilma was born. Today we offer clothes for children aged 0-6 years old (in European sizes 50-116) and the company is run together with Niklas in a dedicated office. I design and create our collections and he handles the website and e-store. Our brand is influenced by Scandinavian design patterns and our vision is to create simple, comfy, functional and sustainable clothes for all children and the next generation to come.
