The Prefecture is a contemporary men's fashion brand, specialising in bespoke custom products. Contrary to most tailored clothing businesses, The Prefecture is emphatic in creating an actual brand and lifestyle for its clients. We have every intention of expanding far beyond our small, intimate boutique- the wheels of this little machine with a big heart have been turning for some time now and the journey is about to become very colourful indeed.

GOODBYE DUXTON ROAD…

6 years after opening this beautiful “shoebox” boutique in one of the coolest neighbourhoods in Singapore, the doors at 100 Duxton Road are closing this weekend…and on to a new location!

This boutique represents a massive leap of growth in my progress as a designer, business owner and as a MAN! There are countless people to thank for the support I have had - I have cultivated a new tribe here and discovered new sides of myself through the guidance of friends like / / and the immeasurable generosity of / / and .monstroski (you built this store dude- an actual masterpiece broski, we will do it again!)

But in no small measure at all, the highest credit goes to who has categorically refused to ever let me give up on as a brand. There is no greater champion for my madness in pursuing this *dream* than you…HUGE returns coming your way, I promise you😏

A new chapter begins with this new year…stay tuned in!

“Make it simple, but significant” - Don Draper

The fine art of subtlety in menswear can be expressed through texture. In this ensemble we have a black-on-black pigment print on Tana lawn cotton from fabric. Tana lawn is incredibly soft and finely woven and sits on the body like silk
