ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 – CONCLUSION
And just like that, another incredible journey comes to an end! 💫
The Summer Xchange 2025 program concluded successfully, leaving participants with a lifetime experience of learning, empowerment, connections and confidence. Our purpose was fulfilled as we gave the participants both productive and transformative summer engagement. Through courses in Effective Communication, Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship & Ethical Leadership.
From these sessions, they are now more confident and articulate communicators, better decision-makers with stronger integrity and problem-solving skills, they are more informed about the realities of entrepreneurship and are equipped with essential digital skills to thrive in a tech-driven world.
Beyond the classroom, they’ve built lasting networks, connecting with peers and guest speakers who continue to inspire their personal and professional growth.
The ANYBODY FOUNDATION remains proud of each participant’s journey and firmly committed to its mission of influencing positive mindsets and nurturing independent, purpose-driven youth.

ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 – WEEK 5
✨ Digital Literacy: Empowering with Tech Skills ✨
This week was all about “Digital Literacy”, empowering participants with essential Tech Skill – a truly transformative session led by Mr. Badou Mbye, Data Analyst at IOM Gambia. His powerful delivery gave our participants an experience of a lifetime!
Participants were exposed to the importance of digital literacy in today’s society to exploring:
✅ Device Overview & Common Tech Terms
✅ Internet Fundamentals – What is the Internet, Popular Browsers & Search Engines
✅ Smart Search Techniques
✅ Evaluating Online Information
✅ Avoiding Misinformation
For many, this was their first real exposure to the digital world, making the session even more eye-opening and impactful. The day was concluded with a hands-on group exercise, where participants practiced fact-checking to confirm the accuracy of online information — putting their new skills into action. The session was educative, practical, and empowering, directly instilling the belief of growth and curiosity in these young people.

ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 WEEK 4

✨ SMS – Students Motivating Students ✨

A week filled with pride, inspiration, and enlightenment. During this lecture, Students themselves took the spotlight on the session of Entrepreneurship. The participants were divided into two groups and tasked with preparing a business proposal that they later presented and defended. The areas included.

✅ Value Proposition
✅ Target Market & Niche
✅ Startup Capital
✅ Revenue Model
✅ Growth & Sustainability Strategies

Both groups surprised each other and the organizing committee, presenting clearly, defending their ideas, showing creativity, and displaying knowledge gained from previous sessions like Effective Communication. One group drew inspiration from an actual business operated by a participant, making it more practical and impactful.

The session was interactive, educative, and empowering giving the participants the opportunity to assess and progress in presentation delivery, confidence, and critical thinking as everyone was involved and everyone presented.

ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 WEEK 3
This session was a roller coaster as the participants delved into management, psychology and ethics with Mr. Basiru Jaye on “Ethical Leadership”. Mr. with over a decade of leadership experience currently the program officer at the National Youth Council of The Gambia where he doubles as the YouthConnekt focal point. The lecture was focused on the types of leadership that are most effective and efficient in line with our culture. High emphasis was on self-awareness as a leader knowing your abilities and limitations, teamwork was also explored and negotiation. A few other principles were stressed on like leading by example, accountability (owning up to decisions and responsibilities), leading with integrity and serving the community, putting people’s needs above person gain. The session ended with a practical exercise and group presentations on critical leadership scenarios where participants demonstrated what they learned from the lectures.

ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 WEEK 2
The Summer Xchange continued week two with one of the country’s finest gurus in communication, Miss . Miss. , a brand strategist, a copywriter and an expert in communication, had a session with our participants on EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. The session covered areas on why effective communication matters, how to structure ideas effectively, writing with purpose and the common mistakes in communication. The participants had a great experience as the speaker was a young dynamic individual within the same age range, bringing immense value, giving them the opportunity to express themselves and later receiving feedback on how to improve. It was very interactive as demonstrations were given on communication etiquette when speaking, when writing (emails, text and reports), or in social and professional settings. It was another successful session as the goal was to give the participants a productive summer experience.

ANYBODY SUMMER XCHANGE 2025 WEEK 1

The ANYBODY FOUNDATION commenced its annual Summer Xchange Program on 12th July 2025 with Mrs. Fatou Jallow lecturing on ENTREPRENEURSHIP. The program which is focused on giving young people a productive summer experience started with the perfect tone as Mrs. Jallow a successful entrepreneur with over 30 years of professional experience in leadership and management enlightened the participants on the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, challenges and risk then concluded the session with different case studies on successful entrepreneurs. It was a fruitful session as participants got introduced to new things and gained exposure of how processes work.

The FOUNDATION stands by its objective of influencing and changing mindsets with the belief that no amount of change is small. “You complain about the society, what are you doing about it”?
