A lot of parenting anxiety lives in the gap between:

"Every child develops differently."
and
"What if my child is the exception?"

Because both statements can feel true at the same time.

We are comparing because we’re looking for certainty. And unfortunately… certainty is something parenthood rarely gives us 🥲

What it does we can get is information, support, observation, and time.

Sometimes that's enough. Sometimes additional help is needed.

The hard part is learning the difference without letting fear make every variation feel like a problem.

Sometimes it takes the second spoon, sometimes it takes 5 bowls in a different mealtimes✨

That’s why repeated exposure matters so much during baby’s feeding journey.
