Honey is natural and has great nutrients… but that doesn’t mean it’s safe for babies! 🍯⚠️

Many parents are surprised to learn that babies under 12 months old should never be given honey, even in small amounts. That’s because honey can contain spores of a bacteria called Clostridium botulinum. While older children and adults can handle these spores, a baby’s immature digestive system may not be able to stop them from growing.

In rare cases, this can lead to infant botulism, a serious condition that can cause constipation, weak crying, poor feeding, floppy muscles, and difficulty breathing 🤒

Avoid giving honey in any form, including raw honey, processed honey, honey water, or foods made with honey until your little one turns 1 year old. 💛

When introducing new foods, remember: “natural” doesn’t always mean “safe” for babies. Knowing these small details can make a big difference in protecting your little one.

Did you know about the honey rule before becoming a parent? 😊

What helped your baby take their first steps? 👣

When babies start cruising, standing, and wobbling around the house, it's tempting to help them every second. But sometimes, our good intentions can actually make learning to walk a little harder.

Many parents unknowingly rely on baby walkers, constantly hold their baby's hands up while walking, or rush the process because they're excited to see those first independent steps.

The truth is, babies learn balance, coordination, and confidence best when they're allowed to practice at their own pace.

Going barefoot on safe surfaces, exploring movement freely, and even taking a few tumbles are all part of the journey. Those little falls can look scary, but they're often how babies learn where their body is in space and how to adjust their balance.

Every baby develops differently. Some may walk at 9 months, while others may take until 18 months—and both can be completely normal. The goal isn't to walk sooner.

The goal is to build the strength, coordination, and confidence needed for walking success! ❤️

When did your little one start walking? Share your experience with other mummies below! 👶✨

Bath time may look simple, but for newborns, a few small details can make a big difference!

Many babies become fussy during baths not because they dislike water, but because they're sensitive to things adults often don't notice. like temperature changes, staying wet for too long, or feeling uncomfortable afterward.

Paying attention to these little things can help make bath time calmer, safer, and more enjoyable for both you and your baby.

Remember, bath time isn't just about getting clean. It's also a chance to bond, build trust, and create a comforting routine for your little one. A gentle, stress-free experience today can help your baby feel more relaxed around water as they grow. 💙

Did your baby love bath time right away, or did it take some practice? 👶✨

Giving birth is one of the most physically demanding things a body can do. 💛

Many mums spend hours in labor, pushing through pain, exhaustion, and intense physical effort to bring their little one into the world. Yet recovery doesn't stop after delivery.

While caring for a newborn, many mums are also dealing with muscle soreness, back and hip tension, swelling, hormonal changes, and the healing process after birth or a C-section. It's no surprise that postpartum recovery can feel overwhelming.

That's why taking care of yourself matters too. Proper rest and recovery can help ease discomfort, improve circulation, reduce swelling, and support your body's natural healing process.

To support mums during this important season, we've partnered with MummyCare Therapy to bring you special postpartum and prenatal massage promotions designed to help you feel more comfortable, relaxed, and supported during your recovery journey. ✨

Because mums deserve care too! ❤️

Teething can make eating feel uncomfortable for babies 😣🦷

Sore gums may cause them to suddenly reject food, become fussier during meals, or lose interest in eating for a few days. But don’t worry mums, this phase is very common and usually temporary! 😊

Soft textures and cold foods can help soothe tender gums and make mealtime feel easier. Things like mashed avocado, yogurt, chilled fruits, or soft bananas are often more comfortable for teething babies 👶🏻✨

Sometimes babies don’t need parents to force them to eat more… they just need gentler foods, extra comfort, and a little patience 🤍

Your baby can’t lift their head during tummy time yet? 🥺

Don’t panic, mums. This actually happens very often, especially in the early weeks. Head lifting takes strength, coordination, and lots of practice! 💛

Many newborns can only lift their head for a few seconds at first, and their little head may look wobbly or shaky. That’s because they’re still building their neck, shoulder, and upper body muscles little by little.

You can help encourage head lifting by placing baby on your chest while you recline or using a rolled towel under their chest for support.

And remember:
Even if your baby isn’t lifting their head yet, tummy time is STILL helping their development in so many ways! 😊

Small progress is still progress 👶🏻✨
