Hello fellow typewriter enthusiasts,

We hope everyone is doing well! It’s been a while since we’ve been active here — life has become quite full with a toddler in the house 😊

With space being limited, we have made the bittersweet decision to part with some of our cherished typewriters.

Many of these machines feature rare and unusual typefaces, which have always been Claudia’s particular passion.

Some examples include:
- Olivetti Graphika with the Casandra typeface
- Gold-plated Royal QDL with the Vogue typeface
- Continental Wanderer featuring Steile Zierschrift and Schräge Zierschrift
- Machines with variety of scripts, Frakturschrift, 4CPI, 6CPI, and Radio Mill typefaces

Other notable machines come with gold-plated details and even pink finishes. Each machine has been a joy to own, and we hope they will find homes with serious collectors who truly appreciate these unique features.

A gentle note: these pieces are priced for serious collectors. We do not ship, so please only reach out if Singapore is on your travel itinerary and you can arrange a local pickup.

Thank you so much for sticking around with us ❤️

It’s been a while since we moved out of Haji Lane, and we will always cherish and be thankful for the memories created there and the wonderful people (you!) we had the great pleasure of meeting and interacting with. Heartfelt gratitude! 🥰

We are taking a little break to spend some quality family time together this festive season, so please do bear with us if we take longer than usual to respond to queries.

An exciting update we would like to share is that some cherished machines in Type8ar’s personal collection will be made available to interested collectors.

This is a little sneak peek 😊 Our hopes is that more people continue to discover the joy in slowing down, connecting with their thoughts and emotions through the very tactile experience of using a typewriter!

Yesterday, we held our last workshop held at Haji Lane.

We thank everyone for all the support for our various activities and hope that everyone had an enjoyable session with our hosts.

We are still taking in typewriters for repairs, providing typewriters and manpower for events (eg wedding reception, exhibitions) and conducting corporate workshops at your work place.
