12 years since its inception, ELOHIM by Sabrina Goh has launched into its next phase recast simply as SABRINAGOH, a bold new confident expression and imprint with an accompanying monogram to incorporate the brand’s founding ethos. Drawing inspiration from th
e ‘divine creator’, the original spirit of ELOHIM is enfolded into the geometric features and connectedness of its enduring brand mark. Designed by Winnie Wu of award-winning studiokaleido, it retains the minimalist and structural qualities associated with the brand. SABRINAGOH continues to elevate the creative values of interplay between menswear and womenswear, conscious detailing and innovative exploration. Presenting an unfolding narrative in its years-long trajectory, the label has constantly danced between a pure, minimalist outlook and covert, playful subversion. Each collection is a meditation on a given theme, across an array of topics from the seasons to textiles, aesthetics, craft, patterns and architecture. In this way SABRINAGOH has constantly renewed the imagination of its brand following, the strong, modern and progressive woman who desires both practicality and distinctive expression in her stylistic choices. Since 2009, SABRINAGOH has grown from a small 1-rack consignment space in a multi-label store to having its own standalone flagship and being stocked internationally at landmark department stores in major cities such as New York, Washington DC, Utah and in Japan. SABRINAGOH is built upon a commitment to design, stringent product selection and going the extra mile across its organization. As a producer, we value close partnerships with designers, artists and producers in our ecosystem involved in creating our overall proposition: a deep appreciation for the products we carry. Our growth is a reflection of a shared belief and philosophy with our customers, buyers, commercial partners and creative collaborators. She launched her brand in 2009 upon graduating from LASALLE SIA College of the Arts inspired to create, motivated by dreams, with a vision to celebrate confidence from inside-out for her generation. Growing up as a draughtsman's daughter, she has been inspired by architectural form to create the strong yet sensuous silhouettes she has become known for in the industry. Winner of ELLE Awards Singapore-Designer Of The Year in 2010, she actively participates in international fashion showcases and trade shows such as Singapore Fashion Week, Vogue Fashion Night Out Bangkok, showcases by the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) and in Japan and China. Recently, she has partnered with The Walt Disney Singapore and Lucasfilm to launch a limited series of collections inspired by Mickey Mouse’s 90th Birthday, Minnie Mouse’s penchant for polka dots in Minnie Rocks The Dots, and Star Wars Episode 9 and Rogue One.
