Over time, friends, families, and strangers started purchasing the designs she initially created for her personal use, and the adventure soon grew into a company
that highlights its key service, focused on handcrafting bespoke leather goods and aprons for the local market. Maturing close to 10 years later, Forest Child remains in production run by a sustainable- friendly team; producing bespoke goods with biodegradable, vegetable-tanned leather (minimal-waste and sustainability-compliant), handcrafting bespoke leather goods and aprons for individuals(locally and internationally), manufacturing corporate gifts for businesses of any scale, handcrafting branded-wares for restaurants, teaching leather-crafting workshops for beginners, enabling customizable options for goods via an e-commerce platform, and encouraging local makers to preserve the handcrafting tradition— all handcrafted with love and no MOQs. The nature of designing customizable goods allows Forest Child to gain first-hand feedback about the pain points and strengths of each existing product that clients bring to the studio. This empowered the company to transform into a people-centric team that gives back to its consumers by creating and recreating custom designs into handcrafted goods that are readily available for the mass market — both online and offline.
