WISE and the management of Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore) worked closely to identify creative youths among their beneficiaries, who have keen interest in bag designing, to be part of our Product Design Team. The Product Design Team is headed by Ms Rina Khoo, who is also an art teacher for children and youths with special needs. Rina has amassed a decade of retailing experiences from working for luxury fashion brands. The Product Design Team is equipped with Fashion Bag Design software from renowned fashion institute. WISE aims to have 50 designs by our young designers by mid-2015 in celebration for SG 50. It is our ultimate aim to feature their creative designs on recognized fashion platforms. WISE works with various charities to identify suitable candidates to be our Fashion Consultants. These potential candidates are usually not able to secure open employment due to their medical conditions. Our Fashion Consultants undergo formal training before they are deployed to serve at our showroom and corporate events. Join us in empowering our Fashion Consultants and experience social retailing at our showroom. Potential customers ask: “Can we buy online instead?” Our reply: Social retailing promotes face-to-face engagement which is crucial for everyone’s social wellness and allows WISE to create gainful employment for the socially disadvantaged.
