Originally designed for work, the chore jacket has always been a garment built around usefulness.

Large patch pockets, a comfortable silhouette and a construction that allows for movement. Nothing excessive, nothing decorative for the sake of it.

For our Utility collection, we were drawn to the chore jacket because it feels just as relevant today as it did decades ago. Thrown over a T-shirt on a morning coffee run, worn over a shirt at work, or packed into a suitcase for travel.

Some pieces survive trends because they were never designed around them in the first place.

The Teba jacket traces its origins to Spain, where it was originally commissioned by the Count of Teba as a lighter, more comfortable alternative to traditional tailoring. Designed for movement rather than formality, it featured unstructured shoulders, patch pockets and a soft construction that allowed it to be worn effortlessly both in the countryside and in the city.

More than a century later, its appeal remains largely unchanged.

Part of our Utility Spring/Summer collection, this interpretation stays true to what made the original so enduring: comfort, versatility and the ability to move through different parts of the day without needing a change of clothes.

One of our favourite parts about designing for couples is realising how differently two people can view clothing. The process is never about forcing them into “matching” looks, but understanding both personalities individually first, then slowly building pieces that feel connected in a quieter, more natural way. When it comes together properly, the outfits don’t compete with each other and they don’t look overly coordinated either. They just feel like they belong in the same story.
