Uyii was launched in Oct 2011 because we believe that we can design and hand-make our own bags in Singapore. We respect the art of handicraft and we see ourselves as a platform for young designers to realize their dreams. We believe that in this world of mass production, there's a place for more special designs. Beautiful, toug

h, unique & affordable- that’s how we want our bags to be because we know that’s exactly what you’re looking for. With this dream we bought our own machines and set up our little workshop. We travelled to find interesting materials, spent days and nights making and remaking many prototypes, researching on different shapes, sizes, straps and sewing techniques. We make sure our bags outlast reasonable wear-and-tear and respect our designs and fabrics too much to be unoriginal or repetitive. As far as possible, we try to incorporate environmentally-friendly ideas into our processes. 30% of our fabric material used is unwanted and no longer in production. We enjoy using these unique dead-stock fabrics to give our bags a different feel and also to reduce as much fabric waste as possible. We also aim to surprise you. Look forward to our new creations and be wowed at how we incorporate functionality into our style. Beautiful, tough, unique & affordable — that’s how we want our bags to be and how we want people to see them. Who are We & What We Do:

We are a group of passionate designers and crafters who work with fabric. As a team, we work with other creatives on projects that challenge the notions about making and manufacturing in the face of mass-production.
