I've always loved dressing Luna in beautiful clothes. There is just something about tiny clothes that makes me so happy. Living in a jungle city means that her clothes need to be breathable and comfortable but still look super cute because I'm all about presentation. I struggled to find pieces that ticked all the boxes because I don't want to buy into the fast fashion culture anymore. I want to give her pieces that will last throughout her season of wearing them, be passed down to her brother, who will then pass it onto a cousin and eventually the piece will end up as a vintage item in a charity shop and some stranger will be the luckiest shopper on earth. But there's another very important box that needs ticking... ethical, sustainable, biodegradable clothes have become something I'm dead set on. I don't want to contribute to the mass landfills of unused clothing that are taking over our beautiful earth. I want clothes that take as little from the earth as possible, made by people who are paid well and work in healthy environments, are then worn until they're covered with holes and stains, are then mended and re-dyed, worn some more, and eventually when they can no longer serve a purpose the item should degrade without causing any harm to our planet and the creatures that inhabit it.

Babies and toddlers grow quickly, we know! But that doesn't mean that we should have a fast fashion mentality when it comes to their clothes. We want to encourage you to buy quality clothes that can be mended, dyed, and passed down to siblings and friends. Then I want those babes to pass the pieces down again and again, and when there is really no life left in the outfit then you'll have peace of mind knowing that the fabric is completely degradable and free from harmful chemicals.
