In 2015, at the age of forty-four, Yann Bourigault was a veteran in the international world of wine, an avid follower of design, and an ardent supporter of “Made in France”. Inspired by a move to the Pyrenees, where he discovered a region with a deeply rooted tradition of furniture making, he transformed his talents and passions into a profession. He made it his mission to bring together international designers and craftsmen from the Pyrenees to create a collection of lighting, seating, tables and shelving in a contemporary, elegant, minimalist style with a deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. Treku origins date back to 1947 where they started out in a workshop in Zarautz, a beautiful coastal town with a long-established tradition in the area of woodworking and carpentry. With over half a century of history, they have certainly earned the recognition of the industry.

We welcome Grafunkt to Carte!

Recently, Nathan Yong collaborated with Disney through his Grafunkt label, to commemorate the much-anticipated film release of “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”. Always the disrupter, we came up with an unexpected idea and imagined a series of four Star Wars collectable edition stools or side table sculptures.
