Salam everyone.
Forgive us for the sudden hiatus.
Before we update you on the roll we're currently at, allow us to surpassingly share with you the man who built the foundation of Hey Hayfa. The man behind every single decision we make. The man that brought up 8 children without a single regret, our late father, our PAPABEAR. 😇
Two weeks ago, we were shocked by his sudden death.
He left us hard leaving a deep cut in our hearts that were as big as his tummy.
Our PAPABEAR is one hello adele of a character if you ever met him. He treated strangers like family, he treated his friends like brothers, he treated his friend's kids like his own. So you can imagine right how he treats his tummy? He was that father, we never knew he'd be. He was amiable, interesting, and more in the core values. He's only stubborn when it comes to food. So now we know where get her traits from.
In 2014 when we had this craziest idea to start our very own line, PAPABEAR was the first who gave his blessings. He was also the first who invested on HH when we had nothing to ourselves. He's always there to transport our logistics when we had events, accompanying us to source fabrics overseas and always supportive of our decisions.
As a father, he wasn't the one that could fully support our family with money, but his promising love towards us was even greater that even Trump's money can't buy.
It has been the most difficult month for us which explains our inexistent this past few weeks due to his passing. But Alhamdullilah we can face this sadden news with full of grace and acceptance now. We do get affected once in a while but that's because every moment with him has always been special. You've no idea how it feels when you come back home after a hard day at work and you hug a bear, my PAPABEAR. Wahlao your battery becomes 100% again sey!
