The pieces are inspired from glamorous fashion icons such as Marlene Dietrich, Dita Von Teese and characters from films and Theater productions. Eskpade comes from the word “escapade” and one of our missions is to create pieces in which we could escape our everyday lives and become our dream characters. It is also where we could re-live the old world glamour and celebrates beauty of women. At Eskp
ade, all the pieces are entirely handmade by Kristine Hakim with the highest quality material. Our mission is to use different old and new craft techniques , such as millinery, French hand-embroidery, sculpting and even costuming to create unique, fun and even theatrical pieces that cater to clients’ wishes. Within every piece, contains an emotion and a state of mind that is unique to the wearer. For her, each creation is an experience and she believes this journey can only be lived once. From these creations, she hopes to share those experiences with others and allow others to create their own experiences.
