Fashion has touched us one way or another, knowingly or unknowingly. It is more of a ‘force’ than just an industry that produces and distributes garment. People that wear a certain type of accessories or clothes can feel the power of fashion not only aesthetically but also spiritually. It gives confidence and strength. You feel good when you put on your favourite pair of jeans or empowere
d when you put on a suit. This creates the idea that fashion is not superficial but it is skin-deep. It is a tangible and purchasable ‘emotion’ and instantaneously intertwines with our veins when we put it on. Our brand embodies this unique perspective of fashion and merchandises. We believe in the idea of producing products that will create an impact on a person’s life but still able to maintain its aesthetic. The idea of connecting to a person’s mind through fashion is endless. This brand, however, is focusing on a way to make the user of the product be much more courageous and brave. The brand is becoming more like a protector or guardian, which descends ‘artefacts’ (merchandises) to the people (user) to help them numb their fear. Fear such as the fear of insects, fear of not fitting in, fear of being a wallflower, fear of being judged and etc. Therefore, we have decided to call the brand ‘Virtus’ which is ‘Brave’ in Latin. Virtus is a brand that is able to design and produce intangible emotions to products that is tangible with the ability to permeate itself through person’s mind and soul. We believe Virtus has that capability to be involved in more than just one aspect of someone’s life.
