ARC presents its Fall 2015 collection that draws from iconic femme fatales of the 1960s. The style of Brigitte Bardot, Jane Fonda and Jackie Onassis inspire this collection’s mood, bringing with the late ‘60s capri pants, short shifts, and mid-thigh skirts in bright, fun colors as per the mod decade. Neoprene once again features prominently in the ARC repertoire; its ability to create and hold shapes are integral to our designs, seeing as we are infatuated with form and architecture. The Farrow Bow Dress for example, takes a simple shift and adds a dynamic detail down the collar, a good instance of ARC bringing a classic piece to its head-turning potential. This season’s highlight is the statement-making Origami Wrap style. The 2 fabric options, mesh or linen, are structured enough to enable the wearer in creating beautiful shapes through folding and fabric manipulation. Inviting the wearer to be a part of the design process, ARC enables her creativity and likens her to an origami practitioner who folds and twists in order to get the desired outcome for her look.
