2nd dog of the month now! We are introducing the (pup)ular POODLE! Let's go!

#1 this might come as a surprise but do you know that poodles are hunters? Yes! They hunt ducks, at least the standard size one did.
#2 speaking of sizes, there are 3 sizes of poodles, the only breed that is so - standard, miniature and toy. The miniature ones even had a job, which was to sniff out truffles in the woods.
#3 french? Nope. Poodles originated in Germany
#4 poodles owners carried their toy poodles in their large shirtsleeves leading to their nickname, Sleeve Dog. (maybe we it's time we make huge ass sleeves)
#5 despite their fur, poodles shed much lesser than most dogs

Bonus fact: the king - Elvis - love poodles so much that he was known for giving them as gifts to women he fancied!

The Golden Retriever!

When someone talks about a loyal, playful dog, most would think about the happy Goldie! They are fun, adorable and incredibly friendly. Here are 5 interesting facts about this cutie:

#1 They are a cross breed between flat coated retriever and Tweed water spaniels (a breed that's extinct today)
#2 They have a gentle bite. Although the Goldie was bred for hunting, these dogs is able to carry a raw egg without breaking it.
#3 Record holder - these playful ones holds the record for the loudest bark AND most tennis ball held in the mouth by a dog. Whutt?
#4 they were bred to retrieve their owners' hunt this the name - RETRIEVEr
#5 the outer coat of a Goldie is thick and waterproof

Bonus fact: there is a kangaroo named dusty who believed his mum is a golden retriever
