Each Baliza garment is made in sustainable fabrics with many hours of handcrafted details and work. We do not produce fast fashion items, we produce timeless pieces that are handmade with care, styles that last. We have a perennial collection of classic designs that we have available online and in stores and we improve designs and add new styles and prints to it twice a year. We concentrate our e
fforts on developing new skills for our artisans and sourcing for sustainable materials. IMPACT
Baliza empowers generations-old craftsmen to preserve their art, and sustain value. Our artisans at Ladli learn traditional garment making skills. We employ Gudri women and provide them with the necessary skills to learn to make the beading, embroidery and each tassel of our kaftans. At Ladli they are also given social benefits, taught financial education and are given emotional support. Their fair salaries are 3 times higher than average factory workers. LADLI
We have partnered with Ladli, the vocational centre of the NGO i-india in Jaipur, to conserve traditional fabric creating skills, empowering families of artisans and supporting the education of over 3,000 children. At Ladli, Gudri women learn traditional block printing, beading and embroidery. They receive emotional support and financial education. Young adults attend school and in their free time, they learn valuable skills including sewing and jewelry techniques. We provide work for over 300 women artisans and 90 young adults. Everyone is paid a fair salary.
