People often me why I started Alexiz and despite the challenges I faced in this journey, my answer was and will always be “why not?”
As a new mother who had to go back to work right after my confinement, I struggled to find the right clothes that fit my postpartum body and allowed me to continue breastfeeding without feeling like I wrestled two lions after every pump session in office.
So I decided I would make my own line of clothing that doesn’t scream “I AM LACTATING!!” so that other mummies could too go to work or brunch, or a high tea sesh looking 🔥snatched….and not have to continue to live in frumpy, ill-fitting maternity dresses just because they came with nursing access that normal dresses don’t. Our dresses are designed to last for just one season - you can wear them before you are a mum, when you are breastfeeding and after you are done with breastfeeding!
Call me superficial but I have never felt better and happier breastfeeding because I could finally look cute and feel a little more like myself in these clothes I made. Afterall, a happy mum is a good mum right?
So really, why not?
