We will be taking a small break from the end of Oct 2023 to mid-Dec 2023 where *no* in-person appointments will be available.

However you will still be able to purchase off the rack items and have them mailed to you.

We might also take longer than normal to reply you during that period on IG or WhatsApp so please do bear with us!

Other than that, continue loving batik and being . We will be back in no time!

In Mandarin, the word ‘Heron’ sounds similar to the Chinese word that means ‘way’ or ‘path’, therefore images of herons are used to signify the way upwards. As in life, the way up is, more often than not, filled with inertia and dogged with obstacles, which is why they also represent strength and patience—the two qualities we have chosen to name our series after.

Many of us just ended peak festivities—Christmas, NY2020, CNY—hope everyone has their heart tank filled for the next 365 days.

As we celebrate, let’s not forget what is also happening around us: Wuhan virus, AU bushfires, Uighurs cleansing...
•
You have seen videos of koalas venturing into human territory desperate for water, burnt legs of kangaroos too far gone to be saved, nesting habitats of endangered birds destroyed...the list is endless. A billion animals are estimated to have been affected.
•
WFB, as a brand, but also as the people representing a larger batik culture, would like to contribute to the larger good where we can.
•
20% of all sales during this event will be donated to the RSPCA in Australia, to support the aid provided to animals affected by the wildfires.
•
Come and join us on 09 Feb (Sun), where there’ll be many other eco stores with workshops and booths, and give generously!
