As part of Berlin Fashion Week , on 3 July 2026, in collaboration with the Slovenian Cultural and Information Centre Berlin (SKICA Berlin) and LJFW , we presented the collections of ten Slovenian fashion designers.
The LJFW: ON BOARD BERLIN pop-up showcase, held at Hošek Contemporary , offered a unique opportunity to discover innovative Slovenian design. A diverse generation of designers working across fashion, knitwear, footwear, textile experimentation, sustainable production, and conceptual design presented distinctive artistic approaches – from ethical and zero-waste practices to performative silhouettes, reinterpretations of workwear, and technology-driven textile research. The event provided an accessible platform for discovering contemporary Slovenian design, exchanging knowledge and ideas, fostering connections, and encouraging dialogue between the fashion communities of Ljubljana and Berlin.
