MNaR museum in Bucharest, Romania hides this beautiful garment called “contes”, which is a woman ´s overcoat. It is from 16th century and made if fabric called “seraser”. It is made completely from metal threads (silver and gold) on silk warp. This piece was made in Otoman empire during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent.
