Inspired by my beautiful daughter and one of my favourite songs of
That describes perfectly what I felt for my daughter when she was born.
A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes
I screamed aloud as it tore through them
And now it's left me blind
The stars, the moon
They have all been blown out
You've left me in the dark
No dawn, no day
I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heart
And in the dark
I can hear your heartbeat
I tried to find the sound
But then it stopped
And I was in the darkness
So darkness I became
I took the stars from my eyes and then I made a map
And knew that somehow I could find my way back
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too
So I stayed in the darkness with you.

Missing my dad.

Days like today I need to remind myself that we are not eternal in this world that I need to compromise and be committed towards myself and my dreams and do not let anyone get into my head and make me feel I am not good enough.
That I have just one life and one body, and I need to push all that guilt away and allow me to bloom, allow me to grow, allow me to love every inch of my being.
