♡ Two years since my soul was recharged at Wat Bang Phra ♡
Looking back at these moments from two years ago, I can still feel the heavy scent of incense and the deep, rhythmic hum of the monks’ chanting echoing in my heart. Stepping into that sacred space felt like wandering into a beautiful dream where time stood still. Sitting on the floor in quiet reverence, I remember the profound stillness that washed over me as I waited for my path to be chosen.
After a long wait, I finally received my Sak Yant. The monk chose a design that couldn't have fit my soul more perfectly at that time. He gave me the Dok Bua (Lotus) with the Salika Koo (two love birds):
🪷 The Lotus Flower: A reminder of my spiritual awakening and the beauty that blooms even after rising through life's mud.
🕊️ The Salika Birds: Celestial love birds that continue to bring grace to my communication and warmth to my relationships.
I can still see the precision of the traditional metal needle (khem) and feel how each strike was a step in a holy transformation. When the final blessing was whispered, breathing life into the symbols, I felt a powerful wave of protection and light that has stayed with me ever since. Even two years later, I carry that inner peace and the strength to overcome any obstacle.
