A few moments from our Purisa Glitzy x Meraki workshop.
14th March we spent the day creating with young participants who explored fashion through collage, using fabric pieces and drawings to design their own outfits. It was really fun to see how everyone approached the activity differently and turned simple materials into their own creative ideas.
The photos show some of the highlights from the day. Kids proudly holding their finished designs, a group of young creators standing together in front of the Purisa Glitzy space, and moments from the tables where everyone was sketching, cutting fabrics, and putting their ideas together.
Leading this workshop was such a nice experience. Seeing people enjoy the process and feel proud of what they created reminded me why creating spaces for creativity and self expression is so important.
